History of Marshfield, MA

Marshfield, MA was originally a part of the New Colony of New Plymouth in New England. Edward Winslow, who was a Mayflower Pilgrim, was the one to establish the town as a separate settlement back in 1632. He later on went on to become the governor of Plymouth Colony and also published several notable works on Plymouth.
